THE WARD Mark recently completed his score for John Carpenter's new film. It will have it's world premier at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. Using the haunting child-like voice of LA singer Toddy Walters along with avant garde orchestral writing, twisted toy pianos and other small instruments supported by pulsating synth work and electro acoustic manipulation of everyday found sounds, this score is a hybrid work that is as much classical horror as it is modern horror. |
